The Philippines continues to be the most gender-equal country in Asia, with 79.1 percent gender parity, according to the World Economic Forum's 2023 Global Gender Gap Index Report. The Philippines is rated 16th out of 146 nations globally. Nonetheless, it is imperative to recognize that various types of violence against women (VAW) and girls continue to exist in the country. This urgent reality highlights how each and every Juan and Juana has a shared responsibility to take a committed stand against VAW. The goal of this concerted endeavor is to pave way for a Philippines free of VAW.

Given this, the Philippine Science High School- Cordillera Administrative Region Campus supports and joins the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End VAW through its activities and advocacies.
